Wedding, landscape and portrait Photographer based in Dunblane.
I have lived for most of my life in a beautiful part of Scotland, and despite having travelled extensively, I still find the most breathtaking beauty and the rarest of light in the ever changing landscapes of Scotland.
The majority of my images are taken from the more remote parts of Scotland, and Cumbria and Northumbria in northern England.
My passions are hillwalking and prehistory - but in the UK little remains standing. So I am drawn to balancing remnants of history with their natural surroundings - in particular the skies, water and light. I isolate features to give them the emphasis they deserve to let their strength and beauty shine.
I try to tell a story with each picture and capture some of the emotion and spirit that surrounds me. I am a dreamer, and it is this Scottish dream I want to share with you.
I'm a caged animal - hate being indoors. I love solitude - places where the only sound you hear is the beat of a bird's wings, and you don't see another soul all day. I'm living in the wrong latitude.....
